To develop knowledge and understanding of time management to achieve
objectives as
required by a practicing or potential first line manager :
• Know how to use
effective time management to prioritize and achieve objectives
Assessment Criteria
• Set SMART objectives
for own workload, list them in order of priority and establish
appropriate time scales for their achievement
• Plan the achievement of the objectives using an established time
management technique
• Identify constraining or limiting factors that could hinder the
achievement of any one of these objectives
• Briefly explain the monitoring techniques for any objective
