Course Overview
In this ILT
Series course teaches the foundations of motivation. Examine
motivating and demotivating factors as well as negative thoughts.
Discuss motivation theories and the benefits of motivation.
Participants will examine the concept of having a Positive Mental
Attitude, and how they can work towards a PMA in their lives. The
course materials also examine in detail the fundamentals of the core
four known as good health, life-long learning, effective
communication, and good organization skills. Finally, participants
will discuss the motivation process and how they can work towards
reaching their peak performance.
Objectives
- Describe the basics of
motivation. Define motivation as a process, and describe some
theories about how motivation can affect your productivity.
- Improve your self
confidence. Recognize your fears and work to overcome them. Identify
the difference between perceptions and reality.
- Strive for good health
to foster a positive mental attitude. Maintain your competence to
nurture a positive mental attitude. Improve your relationships to
indirectly improve a positive mental attitude. Strive to be
organized to encourage a positive mental attitude.
- Identify your goals and
plan the necessary steps to reach those goals. Implement your plan
and evaluate its progress to strive for peak performance levels.
- Work toward improving
your motivational skills by using the 21 day habit and satari.
Use resources, including websites and books, to continue working on
your motivational skills.
